The State Fair

Oh the joys of taking the kids to the fair.. We decided to venture on a warm friday afternoon. My darling daughter however is not the kind of girl who likes to ride the rides you see. But somehow my husband convinced her to get onto a ride.. A ride she had no idea how fast it went or that the seat rocked back and forth the faster you went.. Note the before and after pics.. The Joys of that First Bike Ride

Finally... My son decided he wanted to learn to ride his bike! Mind you he received it and his helmet for Christmas.. Last year that is.. Well when he got on he just took off! Talk about a fast learner! We were left to chase after him down the street! Now, while he still needs a bit of practice to get started and to get off.. He is starting to get the hang of it!

Football!!!!

Football season has begun!! Mason loves playing.. Its really funny to watch all the little boys.. They sit there and will say did we win??? Whats the score???

On occasion one of them gets too excited and even runs the wrong way.. Making a touchdown for the other team.. (Which our team has done twice already) But its really too cute.. All the boys wanted the "black" stuff under the eyes at the game Saturday..

Yay!! Kids are Back at school

So finally things are starting to get back to normal around here. I am not sure if any of you knew but we had a little "storm" come through by the name of Gustav.

My kids have been out of school since last Friday. They will go back tomorrow!! (Yay me) Being cooped up in the house with them for 3 days really wasnt so much fun. We tried to go to the movies today.. But it seemed everyone else had the SAME idea...

My Sis's Birthday

So we took my sister out for ber birthday recently while we were back home in Okla for a little visit. I just had to share the adorable picture of my kids with my sweet little niece!

They had a great time playing together. Addison loves her cousins! I got her some pink sunglasses (very retro like) and she didnt want to take them off the entire meal! Her mom (my sis) thanked me for that. LoL! I can't tell you how fun it is to buy her little gifts and things that are messy or otherwise she wouldnt get!

Lazy Cat & giveaway drawing date change

Can you say lazy cat?? This is what Brighton my snob cat. (Yes that is really what I call her) does all day. She folllows me from room to room in the house all day. And this is her newest sleeping spot. If i put something on the deesk in her spot she pushes it until it either is flung at me as I am on the computer or it falls to the ground. Yesterday I got hit with a pair of scissors.

Medievel Times

So off to Dallas last weekend we went to Medievel Times. It was a first for the kids. I have to say it was a bit better food than I remembered. We also had to go to the American Girl Place as well. $200.00 later we walked out! (hubby has no idea) Although I have to say I got Christmas gifts as well as some Birthday gifts for dd and niece.
