Back to School Giveaway and SALE!!!
Its official, my kids are headed back to school soon! (Yay!) Is it wrong to be excited??
I am going to give away a set of little birdies to one person. (These are still in the process of being painted.) But they are SO CUTE! Oh...fun! I love giveaways! :) What I like about school starting...since I'm not in school and neither are my kids (YET), I'd have to say that my favorite thing about school starting is the back-to-school sales!!! hehehehehe
What I love about back to school is that all the teenagers are off the streets around here :) my son is 5 months so no school for us yet.
first of all.... August 18th!! I thought school began in September!!
And second - What I like about school starting... well, I'm not in school and neither are my kids yet... but I live in an apartment complex that is riddled with college kids and I can not wait for them to go back to school and get out of the pool so I can take my kids without worrying about obnoxious teens doing cannon balls and splashing my babies!!

This is my first year as a parent without kids in school, so I guess I am at the other end! My kids range from 18 - 27, so I had alot of years of public schools and am happy they are over!

My kids go back to school August 19th. It will be bittersweet. Bitter because it can be sad to see them go and grow up so fast, but sweet to get a break during the day. I feel refreshed when they come home from school after getting a much needed break, which I feel makes me a better mother. I still will have one little toddler at home:)
YAHOOOOOOOO! What I like most is that my girls will be separated and can't fight ALL day long!!!!! We start on the 18th also. Counting down the days!!!!! I don't think it's bad to be excited.... I'm elated!!!
My son starts school the day after Labor Day. My favorite thing about him going back to school is the quiet during the day. =P He talks as much as I do (that's a lot).

I love back to school time for shopping with the kids, meeting the teachers and knowing that my kids are learning and having a good time... I also like the peace and quiet at lunchtime when I come home from work. I am able to get a few things done, which is good.
